Data Deletion Instructions

At The Journal Room Sdn. Bhd. ("we", "us" or "our") you have the right to request deletion of the personal data we hold about you, in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). This page explains how to make that request.
How to request deletion
- Email us at hello@thejournalroom.xyz with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
- Tell us the name and email address (or other identifier) you used when you contacted us or worked with us, so we can find your data.
- We will verify your identity before processing the request, to protect your information.
What happens next
- We will acknowledge your request and, once your identity is verified, delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days.
- We will confirm with you once the deletion is complete.
- Where we are required by law, regulation or for legitimate accounting purposes to keep certain records, we will tell you which data must be retained and for how long. All other personal data will be removed.
